R Sai Kishore reveals a massive lesson learnt from CSK veteran MS Dhoni
Tamil Nadu spinner R Sai Kishore's career began with Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2020, when the franchise brought him for his base price of INR 20 lakhs. Though he did not get to play for two whole seasons, the left-arm spinner moved to the Gujarat Titans in 2022.
The franchise signed him for a massive INR 3 crores, and the spinner soon went on to impress all with his new franchise. However, Kishore reveals in a recent interview that he learnt valuable lessons from the CSK legend MS Dhoni when he himself was part of the CSK setup.
In a recent interview on Provoke TV, Sai Kishore said, “I have learnt a lot about this from MS Dhoni. He would never pick up his phone. He used to leave his phone in his hotel room and come for the games. That’s how detached he would be. This inspired me because I used to ask myself if being involved in social media is needed. So looking at him inspired me.”

He has been an economical bowler throughout his career despite the impact player rule, which often leads players to have a greater impact with the bat. His career economy looms around 8.85.
