MS Dhoni in a Molestation controversy claimed by an Actress

Television actress Gulki Joshi has opened up about a frightening incident where she feared being molested while attending an event to meet MS Dhoni.

Gulki Joshi has featured in several popular Hindi television shows. She became a household name for her portrayal of Haseena Malik in Maddam Sir. She recently starred in the anthology series Hasratein 2. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about the scary incident.

The actress had gone to Ranchi to award Dhoni

The incident took place years ago when she visited Ranchi, MS Dhoni's hometown. She revealed that she was invited to the event because of the popularity she got after starring in Nadaan Parinde. She was in Ranchi to present an award to Dhoni.

"This happened a long time ago. I had gone to Ranchi for the IPL - I had to present an award to Mr. Dhoni. At that time, my show Nadaan Parinde (2014) was running successfully, and because of the show's popularity, I was invited to attend the event," Gulki told Filmymantra.

Actress reveals frightening mobbing incident

Speaking further, she recalled how she was mobbed by a crowd as soon as she stepped outside. The situation became dangerous soon, and the thought of getting molested started crossing her mind. Fortunately for Gulki, the security team intervened in time and brought the situation under control.

"As soon as I stepped outside, I was completely mobbed by a crowd. It wasn't just excitement - it became physically overwhelming to the point where I genuinely felt threatened. Amid the pushing, shoving, and chaos, the horrifying thought crossed my mind that I could be molested right there in the crowd," she revealed.

"Just as things were spiraling out of control, the security team arrived and somehow managed to pull me out of the mob. They whisked me away to safety. But the fear lingered. It shook me. That was the only time I've ever truly been afraid of the crowd, of the people," Gulki added.

During the same interview, Gulki Joshi also opened up on her heartwarming meeting with MS Dhoni. She met the cricketing superstar for the first time and was highly impressed with his humble nature. Hailing MS Dhoni as a hero, Gulki said that he was 'humble, warm and grounded'.

"When I finally met Mr. Dhoni, he was everything you'd hope a hero to be - humble, warm, and grounded. Even though he must have been exhausted after the match, he patiently met every fan, smiled, took pictures, and made everyone feel special.

"In that moment, I realized what true greatness is. No arrogance, no drama - just pure, unfiltered humility. It really stayed with me. It reminded me that real talent shines the brightest when it's combined with real humility," Gulki said.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is currently busy playing for Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing IPL 2025. With Ruturaj Gaikwad sidelined due to an injury, Dhoni has donned the captain's hat once again, although he has not been able to change his team's fortunes. CSK are languishing at the bottom of the points table with just 2 wins from 9 games.
