Jaydev Unadkat Lauds MS Dhoni
“MS Dhoni has always been there when you are on there on the field. As a wicketkeeper, its his roles to guide the team. You can expect it from everyone but not everyone can do it,” Jaydev Unadkat stated in an exclusive interview with Cricketaddictor.
“MSD did that in the best way possible even after not being the skipper of the side in 2017. To set the right fielders at the right angles and he always used to do that which doesn’t really look important from the outside but it’s very essential for a bowler’s success and a team’s success. There can’t be a better tactical person on the field like MS Dhoni” Unadkat further added.
MS Dhoni Appointed As Team India’s Mentor For ICC T20 World Cup 2021
MS Dhoni has been one of the most successful captains in the history of Indian cricket. He led team India to the ICC T20 World Cup title in 2007 and also led the Men in Blue in the 2011 World Cup triumph. Dhoni also won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 as the skipper of the Indian Cricket Team.
This is one of the prime reasons why he was appointed as team India’s mentor for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Dhoni has also won 3 IPL titles leading Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. For 2 IPL seasons in 2016 and 2017, CSK was banned from the IPL due to fixing allegations and this, Dhoni had to represent Rising Pune Supergiants in both seasons.
