MS Dhoni's fan, who breached IPL security, dies mysteriously

India Cricket fans going to an extreme extent for their fans is not something new, as several Indian fans have made vile attempts to meet their idols and have intruded between matches.
MS Dhoni, undoubtedly one of the biggest cricket icons from India, has a huge fanbase, and he relishes being an integral part of the Yellow Army for years in the IPL. One such incident occurred in a match between CSK and the Gujarat Titans.
A man entered the ground to meet MS Dhoni during an IPL match
A 21-year-old young man of MS Dhoni breached the tight security cordon to enter the field to meet the cricketer during an IPL match between CSK and their opposition, the Gujarat Titans, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Jaykumar Jani, a native of Rabarika village in Bhavnagar district, was arrested under Section 447 (criminal trespass) of the Indian Penal Code, Assistant Commissioner of Police DV Rana said.
Jani had informed the police then that he was a fan of MS Dhoni and wanted to meet him, he said, adding that he jumped over barricades and ran towards the cricketer and fell to his feet.

Dhoni's fan's mysterious death 2 years after
In a video of the incident that surfaced on social media, Jani is seen bowing at Dhoni’s feet near the pitch and hugging him before security personnel take him away.
“Jani and his brother Parth travelled from Bhavnagar to watch the match. During a DRS (decision review system) break, Jani first jumped the metal barricades near the black screen and ran towards the pitch."
"He was quickly apprehended and taken to Chandkheda police station,” Rana said. He was formally arrested on Saturday after an FIR was registered against him, the officer said.
Recently, he has been reported to be dead just two years after the incident.

MS Dhoni to continue playing in the IPL
Dhoni will continue to play in the IPL, as he was recently spotted saying that he is deemed fit by the doctor to continue the game for the next five years. He has also said that the team needs many new additions, and he has a clear approach towards the team's plans.
Despite CSK looking at the target for Sanju Samson, Dhoni remains crucial to the CSK setup, as he was seen leading the team in the last season as well. Dhoni has not confirmed anything as of yet; however, to all his fans, he remains an icon despite his growing age.
