The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to get a new title sponsor for their national cricket teams. If things go according to the original plan, then the board could get Muthoot Fincorp as the title sponsor.
On September 24, Gaurav Gupta, a Times of India journalist, provided updates on the Indian cricket teams' next title sponsor through his ' X ' post.
BCCI to confirm Muthoot Fincorp as its next title sponsor
According to Gupta's social media post, Muthoot Fincorp is set to become the title sponsor for BCCI for the next couple of years. India's upcoming series against West Indies at home is expected to be the first series with the new title sponsor. The India vs West Indies white-ball series is scheduled to start on September 27.
"Muthoot Fincorp to be BCCI title sponsor for the next two years. The BCCI's new title sponsor's contract will start with the three-match home ODI series against West Indies, which starts at Kochi on Sept 27," the 'X' post reads.
