As soon as the pictures and clips went viral, the internet was buzzing with speculations about the mystery woman wearing the Indian jersey with Jasprit Bumrah. Well, that woman is Yasmin Badiani, who works with the Operations team of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Yasmin Badiani’s role with India revealed
Many were confused about why she was seen wearing a Team India training jersey. So, the reason behind her appearance in an Indian kit is that Yasmin was officially assigned by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to assist the Shubman Gill-led Test team during the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in England.
Her role includes coordinating schedules, guiding logistics, and ensuring smooth communication between the ECB and the Indian cricket team on the ongoing England tour.

Notably, Jasprit Bumrah is not part of the ongoing Edgbaston Test, as he was rested for the game to manage his workload on the England tour.
