India skipper Rohit Sharma’s mother Purnima posted an edited image of his son along with Virat Kohli as Team India won the T20 World Cup 2024. The Men in Blue defeated South Africa in the final to lift their second-ever T20 title in history.
India under the leadership of Rohit Sharma was nothing short of exceptional in the T20 World Cup 2024. The opening batter was the shining light for his team both as a leader as well as the batter in the tournament and showed the path to the team.

The edited image had the caption, 'goat duo in T20 cricket' at the top and another caption at the bottom which read: "Daughter on his shoulders, nation on his back, brother on his side."

As India won the T20 World Cup 2024, both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also retired from the T20Is. They were on the same page and stated that it was time for the youngsters to take on as they ended their tournament on high.
