Naveen ul Haq Once Again Ignites The Fire Against Virat Kohli With Comments On Indian Veteran's Return To T20I Side

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq had a heated argument during the IPL 2023 which created a huge buzz on social media among fans. Virat Kohli celebrated aggressively after winning a match against Lucknow Super Giants and after that when both teams were shaking hands with each other after the match, Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli got into a heated argument after which both of them were fined 100% of their match fees. Even Gautam Gambhir got involved in the argument with Kohli.

The former Indian captain has always been one of the most aggressive personalities on the field and getting into arguments with the opponents is something very common for Virat Kohli. However, this particular incident got a lot of attention on social media and during the ICC Cricket World Cup match between India and Afghanistan which eventually happened in Virat’s hometown of Delhi, the crowd started chanting Kohli’s name when Naveen-ul-Haq came to bowl.

In a recent interview, Naveen-ul-Haq talks about the trolling he received after the incident with Virat Kohli and how it affected his game. He said that the trolls did not affect him and he enjoyed the memes that were created regarding his argument with Virat Kohli. He mentioned how those trolls and memes motivated him to perform well in the IPL and the ODI World Cup.

“I don’t dislike trolling, nor do I see it in a bad way. We have a ‘friends and family’ group on WhatsApp and the memes that I was getting during the IPL last year, I would share it all with them. Those were just memes for me and I wasn’t bothered. It gave me motivation to play well in that IPL and also during the World Cup. It doesn’t bother me,” said Naveen-ul-Haq

Virat Kohli And Naveen-ul-Haq Resolved Their Differences During The World Cup

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq were seen sorting out their differences during the ODI World Cup match as Naveen went to Virat and had a chat in between the matches when the crowd was chanting Virat’s name every time Naveen started his over. After that Virat indicated to the crowd that they had settled their differences and the crowd started hooting.

On being asked about settling the differences with Virat Kohli, Naveen said, “Yes. I had a bit of a chat with him during and after the game in the ODI World Cup. So, there was nothing personal between us. It all happened in the heat of the moment, and I am surely looking forward to bowling to him in this series.”

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq will be facing each other during the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series between India and Afghanistan. Virat Kohli will be back in the shortest format for India after a long hiatus of 429 days and will hope to make a sensational comeback in the T20Is. India is currently leading the series 1-0 after they defeated Afghanistan convincingly by 6 wickets in the first T20I at Mohali. Virat Kohli missed the first T20I due to personal reasons.
