For openers, Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh are expected to be part of Asia Cup 2023. Bhurtel has hit 544 runs in 19 ODIs this year with 1 century and 3 half-centuries. He is the leading run-getter for the team.

Aasif Sheikh is a wicketkeeper who can be the other opener. He has mustered 532 runs in 18 games so far at an average of 33.25. He has scored 4 fifties and 1 ton this year.

Middle-Order- Rohit Paudel (C), Bhim Sarki, Aarif Sheikh

In the middle order, Rohit Paudel, Bhim Sarki, and Aarif Sheikh are 3 batters who can make it to the Nepal squad for Asia Cup 2023. Paudel has scored 524 runs in 20 games with 3 half-centuries.
