Far West United innings:

Asked to bat first, Far West United scored 169 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs. United did not get off to a good start and the 150-run mark was looking like a distant dream.

The likes of Dev Khanal (22) and Hashmatullah Shahidi (19) got starts but could not convert them into big totals. On the other hand, the likes of Hasim Ansari (11), Binod Bhandari (12), and Umair Ali (0) failed to get going with the bat.

At one stage, United were reeling at 89 for 5 in the 14th over and were looking destined to post a below-par total. However, a whirlwind knock from Karan KC helped them cross the 150-run mark and post the big total.

Karan smashed an unbeaten 46 off just 17 balls with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes and shared an unbeaten stand of 58 runs with Bhim Sharki who remained not out on 36.
