Ryan Campbell out of coma: Brother Mark
Just after suffering a shocking heart attack, Campbell was kept in an induced coma for several days. However, the former cricketer’s brother Mark said that the coach was out of the coma but medical officials are concerned with arrhythmia.
“They’re saying that there doesn’t appear at this stage to be any brain damage, his brain wasn’t starved of oxygen. So that looks OK,” Mark told the Australian radio network Triple M.

“They’re not sure now why his heart is still being arrhythmic. So that’s another issue that they’re now going to look at over there,” he added.
Campbell was appointed the head coach of the Netherlands’ men’s cricket team in January 2017. He was part of the Dutch’s visit to New Zealand for the three-match ODI series, which the Black Caps won 3-0. The 50-year-old recently made a visit to Perth to spend time with family and friends.
