Ravi Shastri shared a post on X after seeing Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, calling the moment a proud one for every Indian.

Big diplomatic message from India
The meeting comes at a sensitive time as wars in the Middle East and Ukraine continue to create global tensions. India is trying to maintain strong ties with Russia and China while also keeping its important partnerships with the United States and other Western countries.
India, China, and Russia were among the four founding members of BRIC along with Brazil when the group was formed in 2006. South Africa joined later in 2010 and attended its first summit as a member in 2011, leading to the name BRICS.
PM Modi, Putin hold crucial talks on defence, energy and space
The Russian President Vladimir Putin reached New Delhi on September 11 and held bilateral talks with PM Modi on Friday. The two leaders discussed cooperation in several areas, including politics, economy, defence, energy, space, skill mobility, and people-to-people relations.
The Ukraine conflict and the situation in the Middle East were also discussed. Modi again stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to solve such conflicts. He also raised concerns at the BRICS Summit on the safety of Indian seafarers. Amid this, Rishabh Pant likely to return for West Indies ODIs; Ruturaj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal in contention.
PM Modi shares powerful picture with Xi and Putin at BRICS Summit
Xi Jinping is visiting India for the first time in seven years. The Chinese president’s meeting with Prime Minister Modi on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit is expected to cover a range of key issues. Key topics are expected to be the situation along the Line of Actual Control, trade, investment and economic relations.
Notably, Modi shared a striking picture from the BRICS Summit in Delhi, where he was seen holding hands with Putin and Jinping. The image reflected the close ties between the three countries.
