Veteran fast-bowler Tim Southee will lead the team in both series. After the T20I assignment against UAE ends, Southee will join the London Spirits outfit for their last league game. He will also be available for the finals if the London-based outfit manages to qualify.

A total of 11 players from New Zealand have signed up for the ongoing edition of The Hundred. The players who have been picked for the T20I series will join their national side for the series starting on August 30, three days after the Hundred final at Lord’s.
