New Zealand vs Bangladesh Match Preview – ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, Match 11

New Zealand will be facing Bangladesh in the 11th match of the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup 2025. The match is scheduled to take place on Friday (October 10) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

Along with Pakistan, New Zealand are the only team who are yet to get off the mark in the ongoing tournament. They have started their campaign with back-to-back losses and will be desperate to win the upcoming match and open their account.

Their campaign began with an 89-run defeat to Trans-Tasman rivals Australia. Chasing 327 runs, New Zealand were all out for 237 runs, even after their captain Sophie Devine scored a brilliant 112. It was followed by a six-wicket defeat at the hands of South Africa in their last outing.

While Devine impressed with the bat once again by scoring 85 runs, New Zealand could post only 231 runs. In reply, South Africa chased down the total inside 41 overs with Tazmin Brits scoring a ton.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, are at the fourth spot in the points table with one win and one defeat. Their campaign got underway with a 7-wicket win over Pakistan. In their second game, Bangladesh gave England a mighty scare but eventually lost the match.

Defending a modest total of 179 runs, Bangladesh had reduced England to 78/5 and later 103/6 but an unbeaten 79-run knock from Heather Knight denied them a famous win.
