Kagiso Rabada, the Gujarat Titans pacer who is also in great form this season with the ball, went on to praise the Rajasthan Royals youngster Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for his fearless approach with the bat.

The Gujarat Titans defeated the Gujarat Titans the last time these two teams met. The Titans batters dominated with the bat, and they looked promising for a bounce back. Kagiso Rabada has been the kingpin behind the Titans' successful rise to the top of the IPL 2026 points table.

Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have slipped to the sixth position in the points table while also having won six matches in this season. They will have to win the remaining matches this season in order to confirm their playoff spot.

He has got really fast hands, and he is fearless at the moment- Kagiso Rabada on Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's sheer form

Kagiso Rabada, the GT pacer, claimed that Vaibhav Sooryavanshi does not have an ounce of fear even while facing the greatest of bowlers from across the world. He has smashed the likes of legendary pacemen like Jasprit Bumrah and Josh Hazlewood.

“He has got really fast hands, and he is fearless at the moment. There is not an ounce of fear in his body, and that’s how you really are when you are young. It really fascinates me. It is great to see that the game is well and truly alive. What I think is that he is just another batter, and I try to get the better of him,” Kagiso Rabada said to PTI on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old broke several records in the IPL with his batting in this season. He smashed the two sharp bouncers from Kagiso Rabada the last time these two clashed with each other.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi completed 100 sixes against Gujarat Titans

During their previous clash against the Gujarat Titans, the RR batter scored a quick-fire 30, once again handing them a promising start at the beginning of the game. In the same game, he walked away with two massive records with only 29 appearances in his short career.

Sooryavanshi smashed three sixes in the game, with two of them coming against the South African veteran and one against the Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj. He reached a massive record of 100 sixes within just 515 deliveries, making him the fastest to the record.

He broke the record formerly held by Karanbir Singh; on the other hand, he became the first teenager, just at the age of 15, to have completed 100 sixes in the shortest format of the game.

Sooryavanshi is eyeing Chris Gayle's massive record with six-hitting spree in the IPL

The Gujarat Titans were one of the most favourite oppositions for the RR youngster, as he had scored his first century against this opposition in the IPL. Having played 11 innings this season, he has smashed 40 sixes this season.

He now holds the edge to surpass Abhishek Sharma's former record of most sixes by an Indian in a single edition of the IPL. He is also 20 sixes away from breaking Chris Gayle's massive record of most sixes by a player in a single IPL season.
