Not Many Players Have Performed Better As An All-rounder In The Last 2 Years Than Him, Feels Anwar Ali

Pakistan all-rounder Anwar Ali has opened up on his performances as an all-rounder being better than many players in domestic white-ball cricket in the last couple of years. Anwar Ali made his T20 international debut for Pakistan in 2008 but hasn’t cemented his place in the playing XI after that.
He last played an international game for Pakistan in 2016 and has been dealing with a lot of injuries after that which has kept him out of the national team for a long time now. However, he has recovered now and he recently signed up for the Kashmir Premier League playing for Muzaffarabad Tigers.
Anwar Ali Reckons He Is Fit And Ready
Anwar Ali mentioned that the injuries have been frequent for him in the past few years but he has been able to deal with it and recovered completely. He even played a lot of domestic leagues globally and he made a bold statement that his performance as an all-rounder is better than most players going around in domestic white-ball tournaments.
“I struggled due to injuries over the past few years but now I’m fully fit and regularly playing domestic cricket and leagues all over the world,”.If you look at my record in domestic white-ball cricket over the past couple of years, I don’t think you will find many players who have performed better than me as an all-rounder,” Anwar Ali told.
“I’m really excited for the Kashmir Premier League (KPL) and playing for Muzaffarabad Tigers. Hopefully, we will put up a good show during the tournament,” he added.
Anwar Ali Heaps Praises On His Captain Mohammad Hafeez
Mohammad Hafeez is set to captain his side Muzaffarabad Tigers in the Kashmir Premier League and Anwar Ali was aware of the knowledge and experience that Hafeez was going to offer for his side in the T20 tournament. He hoped to learn a lot more things from the experienced campaigner from the tournament.
“Hafeez bhai is an experienced player and also part of Pakistan’s current T20 team. He has great knowledge about the game and has led Pakistan team in the past, including the World Cup, which would be beneficial for the players and hopefully we will learn many things while playing under his leadership,” he added.
Anwar Ali was the star of the Final win for Pakistan against India in the 2006 Under-19 World Cup picking up five wickets.
