Unfortunately, KKR will have to part ways with key members of their side due to the IPL 2025 auction. The mega auction will only allow all teams to retain a few players and release all of them. Also, there will be many changes in the primary squads of all teams.

3. Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey was part of the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2024. The right-handed batsman was grabbed by the franchisee into their squad in the season, however, he only played 1 game for the side.

He scored 42 runs in the match across 31 balls. Although Pandey impressed with his performance, the franchise did not feature him in more matches. They already have many world-class middle-order batters in their squad and can release Pandey from the side.

2. Rahmanullah Gurbaz

Rahmanullah Gurbaz is a wicketkeeper-batsman who only plays as an opener. The right-handed batsman played only 2 games in IPL 2024 after Phil Salt left the side. Earlier Salt and Narine opened the innings for KKR throughout the season.

KKR already has many options for openers and Gurbaz does not get many opportunities in the playing 11 due to the 4 overseas players rule. Hence, the franchisee will look to part ways with him ahead of the IPL 2025 auction.

1. Anukul Roy

Anukul Roy is a batting all-rounder who played 4 games for KKR in IPL 2024. He added 3 runs in 3 innings while batting. With the ball, he bowled in 4 innings but could not get any wickets.

He was also expensive at his economy of 10.59. Since every IPL team wishes to retain only crucial players, KKR might release Anukul Roy from their squad.
