England National Cricket Team fast bowler Ollie Robinson has reached a special milestone by dismissing Pakistan National Cricket Team opener Saim Ayub LBW for a duck on Day 1 of the ongoing third and final Test on September 9.
Ollie Robinson joins Ian Botham in elite England club with 100th Test wicket
It was the 100th wicket for Robinson in just 24 Test matches. With this, the pacer has joined an elite list of England bowlers. Robinson has become the first England bowler since Ian Botham to reach 100 Test wickets while maintaining a career bowling average below 20.
Meanwhile, Saim Ayub had a really forgettable start at Lord’s. The Pakistan batter faced only four balls before Robinson trapped him in front. Earlier, England greats mocked Pakistan’s 7-player purge with King Charles joke.
