Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan conveyed his heartfelt wishes to ace Indian batter Virat Kohli for his upcoming birthday. Mohammad Rizwan expressed his admiration for Virat Kohli, hoping he would score his 49th ODI century against South Africa.

The Pakistan team is currently gearing up for their upcoming match against Bangladesh at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens on Tuesday, October 31. The team arrived after enduring four consecutive losses in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, while Bangladesh recorded five losses.

I Only Have Love For Virat Kohli – Mohammad Rizwan

During a practice session, a fan approached Mohammad Rizwan and inquired about his birthday wishes for Virat Kohli on November 5. Rizwan responded with a heartfelt message, wishing Kohli to achieve both his 49th and 50th ODI centuries at the venue.

“Brother, (Virat) Kohli will play here on his birthday (November 5, India vs South Africa). Do you have any wishes for him?” a man asked.

“Sirf mohabbat hai. Inshallah, idhar unka 49th kya 50th hundred bhi ho jaaye (I only have love for him. God be willing, may he get both his 49th and 50th ODI century here),” Rizwan replied.

Virat Kohli is in exceptional form in the ICC World Cup, amassing three half-centuries and one century. With 48 ODI centuries, he is just one short of equaling Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the most ODI centuries. He aims to break the record in the upcoming matches.

Pakistan On Brink Of Early Elimination In World Cup 2023

The wicketkeeper-batter is the leading run-scorer for Pakistan in the marquee tournament. The right-handed batter has scored 333 runs in six matches at an impressive average of 66.60 and a strike rate of 97.36. He has also smashed a century and a half-century so far.
