England Cricket Team is all set to hand the T20I cap to Olly Stone. The speedster is most likely to debut in the 4th T20I Match and it looks like ECB is making the most of this 7 T20I match series as they are trying out a lot of players. The likes of Luke Wood & Will Jacks are the other players to debut in this series.

ECB is carefully monitoring Mark Wood’s elbow injury as it looks like the pacer won’t play all of the remaining 4 matches. At the same time, Jos Buttler’s minor injury has meant that he would play only the last 2 T20Is. It doesn’t look like England is missing Buttler as the likes of Harry Brook & Ben Duckett is proving to be too hot to handle.

Olly Stone ready for T20I Challenge

Olly Stone, the 28-year-old fast bowler has represented England in Test Cricket 3 Times and 4 times in ODIs.  He has been quite brutal in Red Ball Cricket and has shown a lot of promise. The pacer is quite injury prone just like Mark Wood and that is one of the reasons he hasn’t been a regular part of the side. It would be quite fascinating to see him bowl as he bowls express pace.

Golden Opportunity for England

England Cricket Team is currently leading the series by 2-1 and with 4 matches left. England needs to win 2 more matches to win the series. Skipper Moeen Ali would be aware that Pakistan would be ready for any uphill challenge. The skipper has been quite unstoppable, especially in the 2nd T20I match where he had smashed 55 runs in 23 balls. His form is quite crucial to the team’s success as he is the only batter in the middle order who is experienced apart from Dawid Malan.

Pakistan on the other side knows that they need to pull up their socks. The Men in Green are in a precarious position as their middle order batters are powerless. PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja also said that Pakistan can’t afford to lose and gave a kind of warning to the team.
