Heading into this game Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has a chance to equal Rohit Sharma’a tally of four T20I centuries. He scored his third T20I century in the previous game and has a chance to score back-to-back centuries.

Babar’s ton powered his team to 192/4 in 20 overs. Mohammad Rizwan scored 50 opening the batting and Iftikhar Ahmed scored an unbeaten 33. The Kiwis scored 154/7 in 20 overs in the chase. Mark Chapman scored an unbeaten 65 and almost played a lone hand in the chase. As many as five Kiwi batters were dismissed for single digits in the run-chase which hurt their cause.

New Zealand are touring Pakistan for 5 T20Is followed by five ODIs. The series started with the first T20I in Lahore on Friday, April 15. The PAK vs NZ T20I series will be played from April 14-25. The first three T20Is will be played in Lahore followed by the final two in Rawalpindi. 

The PAK vs NZ ODI series then starts on April 27 and will be played till May 7. The first two ODIs will be played in Rawalpindi followed by the final three in Karachi. International cricket is back in Pakistan. They are also scheduled to host the Asia Cup later this year in September.
