The ODI team for New Zealand‘s forthcoming series against Pakistan now includes Mark Chapman. This choice was chosen in response to his outstanding batting display in the fifth T20I match, which enabled New Zealand to tie Pakistan in the five-match T20I series, 2-2.

The upcoming ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start on Thursday, April 27, in Rawalpindi.

Mark Chapman hit an unbeaten 104 off 57 balls in the final T20I of the series to cap a stunning chase of 194 runs at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. New Zealand was in trouble at the midway point, having lost four wickets for 73 runs. Chapman and Jimmy Neesham then put up a valiant fight, counter-attacking the Shaheen Afridi-led bowling attack.

Chapman batted energetically, hitting 11 fours and four sixes in his innings while sharing an unbroken 121-run combination with Neesham (45 runs in 25 balls).

New Zealand won the match by six wickets after completing the target in 19.2 overs. This helped New Zealand draw the series, and Chapman demonstrated his value as an experienced and competent middle-order batsman for the Kiwis.
