PAK vs NZ Live Streaming In India– When and Where To Watch Pakistan vs New Zealand Live In India? 1st T20I, New Zealand tour of Pakistan 2024

The PAK vs NZ first T20I kickstarts a five-match series between the two teams ahead of the T20 World Cup. The matches will start at 8 PM IST.

A second-string New Zealand will play five T20I matches as some of the first-choice players are not available while the others are currently playing the IPL 2024 in India. 

With Pakistan players not included in the IPL, the PCB has found this window to stage a bilateral series against New Zealand and continue their preparations for the T20 World Cup. The first three games will be played in Rawalpindi while the last two in Lahore. 

This is the third bilateral T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand since the start of 2023. Pakistan drew the series 2-2 under Babar Azam's captaincy before the World Cup in April 2023.

Ten under Shaheen Afridi's captaincy Pakistan lost the T20I series after the World Cup. Soon again Babar Azam was named the Pakistan international captain across formats after Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi was elected the new chairman of PCB.

New Zealand, meanwhile will be led by Michael Bravewell in the series. As many as 12 players were unavailable for selection when the first schedule of the series was announced.

Trent Boult, Devon Conway (injury), Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Mitch Santner, and Kane Williamson were away on IPL duty while Will Young (winter contract with Nottinghamshire), Tom Latham (awaiting the birth of a second child), Tim Southee (conditioning) and Colin Munro were the players unavailable.

Their case was further weakened by injuries to Fin Allen and Adam Milne. Tom Blundell and uncapped allrounder Zak Foulkes were named as replacements in the team. Rookie Tim Robinson and Will O'Rourke, uncapped in the format, are also part of the setup.

PAK vs NZ Broadcasting Rights in India

There are no broadcast rights for the PAK vs NZ 2024 T20I series in India. Indian fans can only watch Pakistan play live in ACC and ICC events and not in bilateral tournaments.
