PAK vs SA: Watch - Mohammad Rizwan, Marco Jansen Engaged In A Verbal Spat

The star Pakistan National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan and the young South Africa National Cricket Team all-rounder Marco Jansen were engaged in a heated verbal spat during the 26th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
In the 26th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, the Temba Bavuma-led South Africa National Cricket Team are taking on the Babar Azam-led Pakistan National Cricket Team at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai on Friday, October 27.
The in-form batter Mohammad Rizwan was forced to walk out in the middle early after Pakistan lost quick wickets. A lot of things went down as Rizwan came to bat and on his first ball, he got a reprieve as Marco Jansen dropped a tough catch.
On the fourth ball of the 7th over, the left-arm pacer bowled a slower one to Rizwan, who played it back to Jansen. The all-rounder dived to take the catch, but couldn’t hold onto the ball.
Also, on the next two balls, things got heated between the two and they were seen exchanging some words. Rizwan managed to hit Jansen for a four on the next ball as he a leading edge flied to the left of the third-man for a four.
The all-rounder seemed upset after conceding the boundary and he said something to Rizwan. The Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter was quick to give it back to Jansen and the duo were seen exchanging heated words before Gerald Coetzee interrupted.
On the last ball of the over, Jansen bowled a good length ball outside off to which Mohammad Rizwan shouldered his arms. The all-rounder once again passed comments to Rizwan and the wicketkeeper-batter reacted back with a gesture.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first in the match. Speaking at the toss, Babar Azam said that they need to improve in all three departments. He elaborated:
“We’ll bat first. Every match is important now and we are focusing on that. All departments we need to improve, fielding especially. We need to stick together and discuss how to get better. I’m happy to do well myself now. Two changes – Hasan Ali is sick, so Waseem Jr comes in. Nawaz is also back, Usama Mir misses out.”
Batting first, the Men In Green were off to a poor start as they lost both openers – Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq – inside 7 overs for 38 runs.
