PAK vs UAE Head-to-Head Records- Key Statistics
Pakistan and the UAE have featured in two T20 matches so far at the international level, and the record is stacked in favour of Pakistan.
The Men in Green have won both matches, which means that the UAE is still in search of its first win over this particular opposition.
The first T20I match that the two teams played was during the 2016 Asia Cup, which Pakistan won after a bit of drama early in the chase.
Batting first in the contest UAE scored 129 runs and got off to a good start while defending a small target of 130 runs.
UAE were able to reduce Pakistan to 17-3, removing the team's top three batters in the first four overs of the chase, and it took an unbeaten century stand between Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik to get the team over the line.
UAE has always been a good bowling side, which is evident by the way they made things difficult for Pakistan in that particular game, and have shown the same spark in the ongoing tri-series in the two matches they have played so far.
The Muhammad Waseem-led side was able to keep the Afghan batter under check as well in the last match and would like to do the same in the upcoming game against a Pakistani batting lineup that is already under pressure.
Having said that, the UAE bowlers will have to ensure that they don't leak runs at the backend of the innings and would hope the batters to get the job done if they end up batting second.
Pakistan, on the other hand, would like to rectify the mistakes they made in the last match against Afghanistan, especially in the batting department.
On the bowling front, the Pakistani captain, Salman Ali Agha, would be satisfied with the way the bowlers kept things in check in the final five overs in the previous match after Afghanistan were on track to breach the 180-run mark.
The former T20 World Cup winners would want the bowlers to keep up the good work and the batters to come good in the match against the UAE.
