The upcoming edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) is all set to be bigger and more thrilling, as the cricket fans will get the chance to see some of their favorite cricketers back in action, like AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, and Yuvraj Singh.
Adding to the excitement, Dugasta Properties has been announced as the official title sponsor for the World Championship of Legends. The return of ABD, Gayle, and Yuvraj is already creating massive buzz, with fans eagerly awaiting their on-field magic once again in the tournament.
AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle and Yuvraj Singh set for grand return in WCL 2025
Yes! South Africa’s legendary batter AB de Villiers, West Indies’ ‘Universal Boss’ Chris Gayle, and India’s iconic all-rounder Yuvraj Singh are all set for a blockbuster return to the 22 yards in the upcoming World Championship of Legends 2025 (WCL 2025).
Surprisingly, the organizers of the World Championship of Legends have removed the Pakistan captain from the poster for the upcoming edition of the tournament amidst the speculations over the India-Pakistan clash in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.

Pakistan Champions removed from official poster
The poster shows five teams from India, England, the West Indies, South Africa, and Australia taking part in the upcoming WCL 2025. The absence of Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi in the latest poster was enough to create buzz on social media, given India-Pakistan tensions.
Since the organizers and owners are Indians, fans were quick to assume that the Pakistan Champions were removed from WCL 2025 after Operation Sindoor. However, there is still uncertainty over an India-Pakistan clash in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 due to the political tension, but it remains to be seen whether this event will go ahead with the Pakistan Champions this season.

WCL’s silence sparks major speculation over India vs Pakistan clash
Surprisingly, the official social media handles of the World Championship of Legends have not posted anything about the India-Pakistan match yet, despite the fact that they are scheduled to revive the rivalry on July 20 at the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham.
They shared everything about India’s matches with England, South Africa, Australia, and the West Indies but have not posted anything about the match with Pakistan, which is a major hint that this clash is under the dark clouds in the wake of the Pahalgam attack earlier this year.

Neither BCCI has confirmed nor denied playing Pakistan in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, and now WCL’s silence on the IND-PAK game hints at a major development that the cricket fans across the world won’t love to see coming.
For India, their WCL 2025 season opener is against Pakistan, but the official poster shows they will play their first game against South Africa on July 22, leaving fans curious to know whether the BCCI will follow the same route for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.
