Since the last few days, there have been rumors that have suggested that the Pakistan Cricket Board is moving the third Test of the series out of Rawalpindi. The venues in the country are undergoing renovations ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will take place across three venues in Pakistan.
Since the last few series, the venues have been a massive concern. The Pakistan Cricket Board is continuously changing the venues for the games. This is because they are making sure that everything is in place ahead of the Champions Trophy, and because of that, renovations for the stadiums are going on at a fast pace.
There was also a lot of fuss over the venues for the England series. The PCB delayed the announcement of the schedule as well due to the venues. This event saw England's Barmy Army lashing out at the PCB for delaying the process.

Pakistan are 1-0 down in series
Coming to the Test series between the hosts and England, the hosts are 1-0 down in the series. They faced a thrashing defeat of an innings and 47 runs in the first Test. It was a horrible outing for them as even after posting a total of over 550 runs, they faced a big defeat.
Pakistan make massive changes to their squad
The Shan Masood-led side, after that, has now made massive changes to its setup. They released big names from the squad as the likes of Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Sarfaraz Ahmed were dropped from the team. The Cricket Board included fresh faces in the setup.
The hosts also named their playing XI for the first Test against the England National Cricket Team. Kamran Ghulam will be making his debut for the team and will be batting at No.4 in place of Babar Azam. Also, they have named three spinners Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, and Zahid Mahmood.
England, on the other hand, will be high on confidence. They would be bolstered by the inclusion of Ben Stokes. The skipper missed the first game due to a hamstring injury and now has returned to the team for the second game, which will be played from 15th October.
