New Zealand completed an emphatic series win over Pakistan after winning the second ODI played at Seddon Park, Hamilton. It was a dominating performance from the hosts as they decimated a more experienced Pakistan line-up with quite an ease.
The Kiwis came into this match high on confidence after winning the first match at Napier. They continued their dominance in this game as well and despite being under trouble on several occasions, they managed to sneak out a comfortable win over the tourists.
After the loss, Pakistan cricket team was brutally trolled on social media. The users claimed that the Men in Green struggled to beat a weakened New Zealand team as most of their first-choice players are in the IPL.

Faheem Ashraf shines with the bat
It was another shocking result for Pakistan, who have been going through terrible times recently. The Men in Green didn't have any answers to the home team as they were bundled out for 208 inside 41. 2 overs.
They were reduced to 32-5 at one stage with New Zealand's bowlers wreaking havoc and making the full use of home conditions. However, the allrounder Faheem Ashraf played a fine hand down the order and smashed 73 off 80 balls to take his team to a respectable score.
Faheem struck 6 fours and 3 sixes during his knock. He was accompanied by Naseem Shah, who struck his maiden ODI fifty and was also the last wicket to fall. Naseem came in as a concussion substitute for Haris Rauf and scored 51 off 44 balls.

Mitchell Hay's superb knock
Earlier, New Zealand's wicketkeeper Mitchell Hay took his team to a signifcant first innings total. While all the batters got starts, no one could go on to make a big one for the home side.
But Hay stayed till the end and struck an unbeaten 99 off just 78 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes to his name. He just missed his maiden international ton but took New Zealand to 292-8 in 50 overs, which proved to be enough in the end.
