Priyansh Arya and Preity Zinta talked over a video call with the fan who was hit by one of the sixes from Priyansh Arya, as they also invited him to the Dharamshala game.

PBKS have been dominating the IPL 2026 edition, as they are currently at the top of the points table and have managed to earn 13 points in the season with six wins in the season and have just one match washed out by rain.

During their last game at one of the stadiums, Priyansh Arya's massive six went on to hit one of the older fans in the crowd. The fan, titled here as Krishan Chand ji, had a head injury after he was hit by the ball.

Priyansh Arya's lovely gesture for injured fan

The Punjab Kings have extended a massive, heartfelt gesture towards one of the fans who was injured by the player's six. Also, Priyansh Arya, the cricketer himself, spoke with the fan through a video call.

During their last game at the PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh, the incident occurred when a six off Priyansh Arya's bat hit an old fan on his head. He left with a bloodied face after the accident, which quickly went viral on social media. The cricketer also claimed that he would visit him if he went back to New Chandigarh.

The PBKS side have finished their home matches in New Chandigarh and will now play the remaining home matches in the alternative venue of Dharamshala.

Preity Zinta calls fan to attend next home match at Dharamshala

PBKS team owner Preity Zinta has always been known as one of the most interactive owners in IPL history. She has been part of the PBKS ever since the inaugural season and has always won hearts with the bond she shares with the players on and off the field and the way she connects with the fans.

Alongside the star batter Priyansh Arya, the team owner Preity Zinta joined the video conference and invited the fans to their next home match in Dharamshala. She showed utter care for the fan, and her gesture would be largely acknowledged.

Their next game at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala is against the Delhi Capitals, which will be played on the 11th of May, and the PBKS side have welcomed the fans to their new home venue.

PBKS need to uphold winning streak against GT after first loss of the season

After having finally lost their first match of the season, that too on their home ground, the Punjab Kings' morale would have been subjected to a massive blow, as the players were looking invincible at one stage.

However, the best team of this season needs to bounce back, and they will get the chance against the Gujarat Titans. However, the hindrance remains that GT has won their recent matches at home and has dominated, especially with the ball.

Yet the Narendra Modi Stadium is a high-scoring ground and will be in favour of the Kings if their batters find it coming nicely onto the bat. They will look forward to making the changes needed to their bowling deck.
