Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Gujarat Titans (GT) squared off with each other in the 37th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The two teams were up against each other at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh. 

Gujarat Titans thrashed Punjab Kings by 3 wickets to win their 4th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. They were exceptional with the bat and ball as they made a mockery of the opposition at their home ground in Mullanpur, Chandigarh. 

PBKS vs GT IPL 2024 Match 37- Punjab Kings innings: The spin trio of Sai Kishore, Noor Ahmad and Rashid Khan wreck havoc across the Punjab Kings batting lineup 

Punjab Kings won the toss and they opted to bat first. Their decision to bat didn't pay off as they had a torrid outing with the bat and were bundled out for a low score at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Chandigarh. 

Prabhsimran Singh (35) and Sam Curran (20) gave Punjab Kings a vital start with the bat and added 52 runs for the opening partnership. With the kind of batting display they showed, it seemed that the home side would post a big total on the board. 

But the introduction of the spin changed the course of the game. Noor Ahmad troubled the batters with his left-arm spin as he picked two quick wickets and jolted the Punjab Kings. His Afghanistan teammate Rashid Khan chipped in with the vital wicket of Sam Curran. 

However, after that, it was all about R Sai Kishore. The left-arm spinner wreaked havoc across the Punjab King's batting lineup and broke their backbone. He picked four wickets and returned with figures of 4/33 to make the opposition batters look clueless. 

Apart from the spin trio of Sai Kishore, Noor Ahmad, and Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma also picked two wickets. Punjab Kings were bundled out for just 142 runs. This was possible because of some blows by Harpreet Brar (29) down the order at their home ground in Mullanpur, Chandigarh.

PBKS vs GT IPL 2024 Match 37- Gujarat Titans innings: Captain Shubman Gill, and Sai Sudharsan play decent hands before Rahul Tewatia shines for his team 

Gujarat Titans had a watchful start to their innings in the chase. Wriddhiman Saha (13) yet again perished in the powerplay as Arshdeep Singh removed him in his second over. After that skipper Shubman Gill (36) and Sai Sudharsan (31) played decent hands. 

After that Punjab Kings made a slight comeback and picked a few quick wickets. With all the pressure on the team, Rahul Tewatia yet again shined with the bat for his team. He soaked in all the pressure and played a magnificent innings. 

Rahul Tewatia scored an unbeaten 36 runs with the bat and helped his team win the game. Gujarat Titans chased the target with 3 wickets in hand and bagged important two points in the league.
