PBKS vs GT: Shubman Gill caught red-handed stalking a mystery woman (Watch Video)

Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill looked quite unfazed about his side's shambolic and embarrassing loss to the hands of Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals last night at the Narendra Modi stadium.

While his team got all-out for 89 runs in the 1st innings in front of home support, Gill was seen gazing over a female GT supporter in the stands, who was flashed by the cameraman in the jumbo screen.

The right-hand batter also gave an expression after seeing the woman and fans on social media loved his reaction. 

If the reports about Shubman Gill and Sara Tendulkar dating each other are anything but true, then the latter will be highly upset with what Gill did last night. His expressions might not have raised many questions, had his team been on the winning side.

However, on a night where every single GT batter flopped including him, the 24-year-old should have been much more focused on how to get Delhi Capitals all out before they reached the target. 

But Shubman Gill looked more interested in off-the-field activities instead of taking care of the task at hand. While he was not criticized much for the batting performance of Gujarat, Gill was highly criticized for the way he had captained the team in the 2nd innings.

The likes of Ambati Rayudu and Varun Aaron had a choice of words for him from the commentary box. The former IPL players slammed Gill for not introducing spinners in the initial powerplay overs to try and give his team a chance to stage a comeback. 

Fans decode the reality behind Shubman Gill's viral video 

From the first look and the way the video has been edited, Shubman Gill can be seen admiring the beauty of the female fan in the stands but the reality is quite different.

As fans rallied down in the comment section of the viral video on X (formerly Twitter), a fan revealed that the clip had been morphed in such a way that it depicts Gill's evil side but in reality, Gill was reacting to something else. 

The clip is from the 12th over of the match when part-time bowler Tristan Stubbs was bowling his first over of the match. In the second ball, he caught Rahul Tewatia's pads in front of the stumps and the batter had gone for a review.

The ball tracking showed the ball pitching outside-off and it would have just clipped the leg-stump but since the on-field Umpire had given out, the review went in Delhi's favor. 

Upon seeing the close call, Shubman Gill gave an expression and that was when the woman appeared on the big screen. "That's an edited video, I saw the match the second reaction is of the DRS decision of Rahul Tewatia." - the fan commented. 

Gujarat Titans suffer massive dip in their run-rate

Meanwhile, the Gujarat Titans, following that 6-wicket loss after scoring their lowest-ever total in IPL history, suffered a massive dip in their net run rate as they are now on -1.303. And because of that very reason, the Titans went below Delhi, who jumped from 9th to 6th, thanks to their biggest-ever win (by balls).
