Chasing 191 runs for their first-ever IPL trophy, Punjab Kings finished their innings on 184/7. The likes of Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh, and Josh Inglis got the start but could not convert them into big scores. Captain Shreyas Iyer also failed to impress and was out for just one.

Holding the Cup with Virat bhai on left and DK on side - Jitesh Sharma's special post

On Wednesday (June 4), Jitesh Sharma took to Instagram to remind the fans of a promise he had made to himself even before the season began. Before the start of the tournament, the wicketkeeper-batsman was asked to manifest something for himself or the team, and he had written:

"Holding the Cup with Virat bhai on left and DK on side of me and I am hitting six to win final when team need 2 ball 6 runs. Wish this come true this season 2025-26. Fingers crossed."

What seemed like a distant dream eventually turned into reality on Tuesday, and Jitesh Sharma took to Instagram to post a special message. He posted a photo of himself holding the IPL trophy with Virat Kohli on his left and Dinesh Karthik on his right and wrote: "Power of Manifestation - Holding the IPL Trophy with Virat bhai on the left and DK Anna on the right.

"When I joined the RCB team in March, I was asked to manifest something for myself or the team, and this is what I wrote. So happy to see this come true!" added Jitesh Sharma.
