The final of Pakistan’s President’s Trophy Grade 1 tournament has drawn attention from cricket enthusiasts due to its unusual timing. Notably, the session timing of the match has been adjusted, with the last session extending until 2:30 AM to ensure the players do not play while fasting during daylight hours.
The President’s Trophy Grade 1 final between State Bank of Pakistan and Pakistan Television began on March 4 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This venue was set to host a Champions Trophy match between Bangladesh and Pakistan, but that game was washed out. The final isn't being played during the day.

Pakistan Endured Winless Champions Trophy Campaign Despite Being Hosts
Pakistan had a disastrous Champions Trophy campaign. They were knocked out of the group stage without a single win despite being the host nation. They began with a 60-run loss to New Zealand in Karachi, where Pakistan failed to chase down a target of 321 runs at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Pakistan, led by Mohammad Rizwan, were bowled out for 241 runs in their next match against India in Dubai. Rohit Sharma-led India comfortably chased the target in 42.3 overs, securing a six-wicket win.
Pakistan’s final group-stage match against Bangladesh was abandoned without a toss. They became the first host team in Champions Trophy history to end the campaign without securing a victory.
