Pakistan Super League (PSL) is considered to be the most enthralling league after the IPL. The league is going to commence on 13th February and conclude on 19th March and this would be the 8th edition of the PSL where Islamabad United (ISU) is the most successful team which has won 2 titles.
The tournament would be played in Multan, Karachi, Lahore & Rawalpindi. Pakistani fans would be hoping that there are competitive wickets as in the last 2 seasons, the bowlers have been at the receiving end. It would be interesting to see how the league unfolds under PCB Chairman Najam Sethi.

PCB official was full of praise for PCB Chairman Najam Sethi & PCB. “Sethi and other members of the board made sincere efforts to take the PSL to Quetta. We strongly believe that PSL nine matches can well be organized in Quetta in an effective and professional way. We are planning to kick-start the preparations early.” said the official.
Currently, a lot of franchise cricket is happening and it would be interesting to see whether overseas players take part in PSL. PCB would be hoping that the players get accustomed to the tough scenarios as since the last 2 editions of T20 WC, the Men in Green haven’t been able to win Championships despite showing potential.
