The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials have said that the planning for the ‘West Indies tour of India 2022′ is underway but the Cricket West Indies (CWI) has stated that it is open to the idea of playing the entire 6-match white-ball series in one or two venues.

The Covid-19 situation in India is once again getting horrible with the fast spread of the virus in the different parts of the country. India has registered over 1 lakh cases of Covid-19 recently. Also, the domestic Ranji Trophy, Col CK Nayudu Trophy and Senior Women’s T20 League for the 2021-22 season, have been postponed due to Covid-19.
