Rahul Chahar Bought By Sunrisers Hyderabad For INR 3.20 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at a base price of INR 1 crore. The 25-year-old has represented three teams in the IPL so far.
His IPL career got underway in 2017 when he plied his trade for now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant. In his maiden IPL season, Rahul played three games and picked up 2 wickets.
From 2019 to 2021, he was a part of the Mumbai Indians team. During his stay with Mumbai Indians, he also won the IPL two times. He was a regular in the Mumbai Indians playing eleven throughout the three seasons.
In IPL 2019, he picked up 13 wickets in 13 games before taking 15 wickets in 2020. Mumbai Indians won the title in both seasons.
In 2021, Rahul picked up 13 wickets before being signed up by Punjab Kings in the 2022 mega auction. In three seasons for Punjab, he has taken 32 wickets. Rahul has also played one ODI and six T20Is for Team India.
