Rahul Dravid's son, Samit Dravid achieves a summit his Father would be proud of!!

Samit Dravid, son of legendary India batter and former India head coach Rahul Dravid, has earned his maiden India Under-19 call-up.

Samit Dravid has been included in both the India Under-19 white-ball and red-ball squads for the upcoming series against the Australia Under-19 team at home.

On Saturday, August 31, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Under-19 squads for the multi-format home series against Australia Under-19. Uttar Pradesh's Mohd Amaan will lead the one-day team, while Soham Patwardhan of Madhya Pradesh will captain the red-ball team.

India U-19 and Australia U-19 will play three 50-over games and two four-day matches during the upcoming series.

The three one-day matches will take place in Puducherry on September 21, 23, and 26. Chennai will host the two four-day matches, starting on September 30 and October 7.

Samit Dravid Gets Maiden U-19 Call-Up For Australia Series

Samit Dravid recently made his senior debut for the Mysuru Warriors in the Maharaja T20 Trophy. The right-handed batter has scored 82 runs in seven innings at an average of 11.71 and a strike rate of 114. He has batted in the middle order in the T20 tournament and also bowls medium pace.

Earlier this year, Samit delivered an impressive performance with both bat and ball in the Cooch Behar Trophy.

The 18-year-old helped the Karnataka team secure their first title. He scored 362 runs in eight matches, including 98 runs against Jammu and Kashmir in the red-ball tournament.

Samit also had a decent outing with the ball in the Cooch Behar Trophy. THe young bowler took 16 wickets in eight matches. He took two crucial wickets in the final match against Mumbai.
