Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be looking to bounce back when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their second game of the ongoing IPL 2025. The game is scheduled to take place at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday (March 26).

Their campaign began with a 44-run defeat at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad last Sunday. Nothing went the Royals' way in the last game as their bowlers were taken to the cleaners by last year's runners-up.

Batting first, SRH piled up a mammoth total of 286/6 in 20 overs thanks to Ishan Kishan's century and Travis Head's fifty. In reply, the Royals finished their innings on a commendable 242/6.

With the Royals now eyeing their first win of the season, we are taking a look at the Rajasthan Royals Playing 11 for their upcoming match against KKR.

Rajasthan Royals Playing 11 vs KKR - IPL 2025, Match 6:

Openers: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson are set to be the openers in the Rajasthan Royals Playing 11 for the upcoming game against KKR. They failed to stitch together a big stand for the first wicket in the last game and will be looking to make amends.

While Samson scored a fine fifty, Jaiswal could not get going against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The left-handed batsman was out for just 1 run off 5 balls. Samson, on the other hand, scored 66 runs off 37 balls with the help of seven fours and four sixes. Samson is also set to play the game against KKR only as a batsman.

Middle-order: Nitish Rana, Riyan Parag (c), Dhruv Jurel (wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Shubham Dubey

Nitish Rana's debut for RR did not go well. The former KKR batsman could score only 11 runs off 8 balls. He will be looking to make an impact with the bat against his former team. Rana bowled an over as well and conceded 9 runs.

Captain Riyan Parag will be looking to lead his team from the front in the upcoming game. Nothing much went his way against Sunrisers Hyderabad and he will be keen to make amends against KKR. The game is taking place on his home ground and Parag will be confident of delivering with the bat. He was out for only 4 in the last game.

Dhruv Jurel was the best batsman in the Rajasthan Royals Playing 11 against SRH. The wicketkeeper-batsman smashed 70 runs off 35 balls with the help of five fours and six sixes. He will be eyeing another good outing with the bat in the upcoming game.

Shimron Hetmyer did well with the bat too, scoring 42 runs off 23 balls. Shubham Dubey also impressed with his power-hitting and is set to retain his spot in the Rajasthan Royals Playing 11. Dubey scored 34 runs off just 11 balls with the help of four and four sixes.

Bowlers: Jofra Archer, Maheesh Theekshana, Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Sharma

The Rajasthan Royals Playing 11 is likely to have three pacers and one spinner. All the bowlers endured a tough outing against SRH and will be keen to make amends against KKR. Jofra Archer, Tushar Deshpande, and Sandeep Sharma are expected to be the three pacers while Maheesh Theekshana is set to lead the spin attack.
