The fiasco within the Rajasthan Royals management continues, as the franchise has now parted ways with spin-bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule and fielding coach Dishant Yagnik.
After the sudden exits of head coach Rahul Dravid and CEO Jake Lush McCrum, the franchise has now continued its relentless parting with their coaches and other key members of its support staff, even as uncertainty remains over the continuation of skipper Sanju Samson.
The likes of former head coach Rahul Dravid have already stepped aside from their roles after the Rajasthan Royals had a very bad season. Under the World Cup-winning Indian coach, the Royals ended in the 9th position on the points table.
Reports confirm termination of contract with Sairaj Bahutule and Dishant Yagnik
Cricbuzz has reported that the franchise, Rajasthan Royals, has ended contracts with their spin bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule and their fielding coach Dishant Yagnik. Bahutule joined the franchise only last year after his brief stint at the National Cricket Academy.
Yagnik's association with the franchise has been a long one, beginning as a player before transitioning into the role of fielding coach. He, too, has made a cryptic post that indicated towards his formal exit.
Some indications have also been made that the strength and conditioning coach, Varun Ghosh, has also been relieved of his contract. The management has undertaken a major overhaul following a weak campaign last season.

Kumar Sangakkara is likely to be back as the new Head Coach
The former Royals coach and the Director of Cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, has undertaken a new role within the Indian franchise. Although the franchise has not yet made a formal announcement, the Sri Lankan is understood to be making key decisions in consultation with the owner, Manoj Badale.
This major swap has, hence, hinted towards Sangakkara opting for a new set of coaches as per his preferences. It has also been reported that Trevor Penney, who previously coached for the Rajasthan Royals, is likely to be back for the Royals franchise.
The former Indian batting coach, Vikram Rathour, will be the only coach to continue with the franchise and is believed to be working closely with Kumar Sangakkara and bowling coach Shane Bond, who might also be retaining his position.
The Rajasthan Royals are yet to provide clarity on Sanju Samson
Sanju Samson's position on the India side as well as the Rajasthan Royals team has been unclear for months now. It was reported that the skipper wants to part ways with the franchise, as he wants to explore some opportunities among the other teams in the IPL.
Sanju Samson has failed to perform well so far in the Asia Cup, which would further weaken his hold on the Royals team. It is unclear how the Samson affair will unfold, as it remains to be seen whether the Indian wicket-keeper decides to continue his stay after the new management takes over.
