Ranji Trophy Dream11 Prediction.

On Wednesday, Bengal set a new record in the 2022 Ranji Trophy quarterfinal match against Jharkhand. Bengal registered a gigantic score of 773/7 in the first innings of the quarterfinal, and as soon as their number 9 hitter Akash Deep reached the fifty-run barrier, they registered themselves into history books.

Bengal became the first first-class team to have nine batters score fifty or more runs in an innings, thanks to Akash Deep’s undefeated 53 off just 18 balls. While two of them, Sudip Gharami and Anustup Majumdar, hit hundreds, the remaining seven scored good half-centuries to help Bengal put up a formidable total.

In addition, Akash Deep slammed a half-century with a strike rate of 294.44. This was his first-ever fifty-plus score at a first-class level.

In the quarterfinal encounter in Bengaluru, Jharkhand had won the toss and elected to bowl. The decision clearly did not seem to work in their favour as the team was in the field for more than 2 days. Jharkhand had a similar batting performance in the pre-quarter-final against Nagaland earlier this year.

Mumbai is facing Uttarakhand at another quarterfinal match, while Karnataka is up against Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab is contesting it out with Madhya Pradesh, all of these games are happening in Alur.
