Renowned Afghanistani spinner Rashid Khan equaled legendary West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo's world record for the most wickets in T20 cricket. Rashid achieved this milestone during the SA20 match between MI Cape Town and Pretoria Capitals at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Friday, January 31.
MI Cape Town triumphed by 27 runs over Pretoria Capitals in a high-scoring SA20 match. A total of 417 runs were scored, showcasing the aggressive batting display from both teams. However, Rashid delivered a stellar bowling performance, conceding only 25 runs in his four overs and taking two wickets.

Rashid Khan made an impact in the match by taking his first wicket in the 11th over. Khan clean bowled Pretoria Capitals' captain Kyle Verreynne on the third ball. The 26-year-old then equaled Dwayne Bravo's record by dismissing Marques Ackerman in the 15th over, shattering his stumps on the second ball.
