Rashid Khan scored five runs off the first four deliveries during the recent match. Rashid used his impressive wrist work to hit a six-over long-off against spinner Luke Wells when 31 runs were needed off 17 balls. Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who was at the boundary line, tried to stop the six but couldn’t succeed.

The Hundred's official account on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared a video of Rashid Khan's helicopter shot, captioning it with: "Rashid Khan 6 alert! It's that helicopter shot again."

Rashid Khan was dismissed for 13 runs off eight balls, including a six and a four, with the team still needing 18 runs from 10 balls. They managed to score just 125 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 100 deliveries. Opener Alex Hales top-scored for the team, amassing 23 runs off 16 deliveries.

Jonny Bairstow Named Player Of The Match

Earlier in the match, Jonny Bairstow scored 55 runs off 45 balls, including seven boundaries and a six. Captain Tom Abell scored 33 runs off 26 balls, including two boundaries in the middle overs. Welsh Fire managed to score 129 for 6 wickets in their allotted 100 balls despite losing two early wickets.

For Trent Rockets, Imad Wasim and Sam Cook each took two wickets. Wasim claimed the wickets of Joe Clarke and Jonny Bairstow and finished with figures of 2/23.

Jonny Bairstow was named 'Player of the Match' for his contributions with the bat in a low-scoring encounter. Bairstow stated that his team wants to take one game at a time and move forward positively.

"Slightly low-scoring game. We got the skills to defend. There were always opportunities. There was wind coming in and that helped. The fielding was exemplary. The players were up for the challenge. We will see what happens in the next game. This game is a great leveler as well. We will take one game at a time and take a positive step forward," Bairstow said.

Trent Rockets are currently 4th in the eight-team points table with 4 points from four matches. Welsh Fire, on the other hand, also has 4 points but is 2nd due to a superior Net Run Rate (NRR).
