Rasikh Salam has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. He is a right-arm pacer and represents Jammu and Kashmir in domestic cricket.
Rasikh became an overnight sensation after he earned his maiden IPL contract at the age of just 17. In December 2018, he was signed up by Mumbai Indians. He became only the third cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to get an IPL contract.
Later in IPL 2019, he made his debut and that was the only game he played that season. The game also made him the youngest player to play for Mumbai Indians. Things, however, went downhill soon as he was banned for two years by the BCCI for age fudging.
He finally returned to the IPL in 2022 with Kolkata Knight Riders. In his comeback season, he played 2 games and went wicketless.
Rasikh finally managed to make an impact with the ball in the IPL in 2024 while playing for Delhi Capitals. In eight games for the Delhi-based outfit, he picked up 9 wickets.
