However, MS Dhoni, who is known for his calm nature, sharp cricketing mind, and unmatched leadership, has retired from international cricket, but he is continuing to play in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the age of 43.
Speaking at the ICC Hall of Fame ceremony, former India head coach Ravi Shastri has given a hilarious and heartwarming tribute to the legendary wicketkeeper-batter. The commentator compared Dhoni to a “pickpocket” at the ceremony.

Shastri joked that Dhoni is so quick and clever behind the stumps, you wouldn’t want him keeping wickets in a tight game because, in a blink, he could steal a match away from the opposition.
Ravi Shastri said at the ICC Hall of Fame ceremony, “He has hands faster than that of a pickpocket. If you're ever in India, going for a big game, especially in Ahmedabad, you don't want MS behind you; watch that back. The wallet will disappear.”

The former Indian all-rounder and captain also praised Dhoni for always staying calm, no matter the situation. Shastri said that Dhoni never shows too much emotion; whether he scores a hundred, gets out for zero, or even wins a World Cup, he remains the same.
Shastri highlighted this cool attitude as one of Dhoni’s strongest qualities. Shastri signed off by saying, “He gets out for zero, it’s the same; he wins the World Cup, it’s the same; he gets a hundred, it’s the same, and two hundred, it’s the same. There is absolutely, you know, no difference.”
