Former Indian keeper-batter and IPL-winning star Manvinder Bisla named a playing XI for the India National Cricket Team for the upcoming ODI World Cup, which will be in 2027. Bisla, who is now 41, surprisingly snubbed star fast bowler Arshdeep Singh and veteran spin bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja from his choice of eleven.

Speaking on a YouTube podcast hosted by TheBallyBaazi, Manvinder Bisla picked both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in their playing eleven. Among the experienced candidates, Bisla named KL Rahul, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav as well.
For the opening slots, the former opener named Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma with Virat Kohli at number three. For the middle-order batting positions, Manvinder Bisla picked Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul to provide the team balance and strength.

Bisla's preferred playing eleven was also filled with multiple openers.
