Ravindra Jadeja Sets Eye On The Third Test, Desires To Seal The Series

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja remains optimistic of clinching the ongoing Test series in Australia following an emphatic display in Melbourne. The Indian team bounced back in style in Melbourne in the second Test winning by eight wickets after losing the first in Adelaide embarrassingly. Ravindra Jadeja conceded that they are confident about continuing their momentum.
Ravindra Jadeja, who came back to the playing eleven in Melbourne, played an integral role in India’s eight-wicket win in the second Test. The left-handed batsman contributed a valuable 57 runs and shared a century stand with skipper Ajinkya Rahane, who bagged the man of the match award for his century. Jadeja also took three wickets in the match with his left-arm spin that boosted the tourists’ chances of victory.
Ravindra Jadeja underlined that everyone is in good nick as the batsmen and bowlers are doing their job. Thus, the 31-year old hopes to continue their momentum, win the next match, and seal the series n Australia. He thinks it would be an outstanding result for them as a team.
“I think everybody is looking in good form. The batsmen are scoring runs and the bowlers are taking wickets. So, hopefully as a team, we continue the same momentum and win the next game and try and seal the series in Australia. That would be great as a team,” Jadeja told in one of the videos shared by the BCCI.

“This is going to be a very special victory for us as a team because we were 1-0 down. We lost the first game badly. So, I think we came up with a good spirit, good attitude, and as a team, we played very good cricket. Batting, bowling – everything,” he added.
