Virat Kohli has been outstanding for RCB in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The right-handed batter has scored 661 runs in 13 matches with an impressive average of 66.10 and a strike rate of 155.16. He has smashed five fifties and a century in the season.
The 35-year-old is the leading run-getter in the ongoing tournament. He managed to shut down his critics, who were questioning his strike rate. He will be next seen in action in RCB's match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Bengaluru on Saturday, May 18.

During a lighthearted chat with Jio Cinema, the star RCB batter was asked to pick the "ultimate street cricket side." Virat Kohli had to pick four players, which included one wicketkeeper, one bowler, and one batter.
The Indian batting legend quickly picked his former Royal Challengers Bengaluru teammate AB de Villiers as the wicketkeeper-batter. Kohli selected India's pace spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah, as the specialist fast bowler in his side.
Virat Kohli opted for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star Andre Russell as the all-rounder in his team. The Delhi-born cricketer included Afghanistan's star spinner, Rashid Khan, in the lineup to add variety to the bowling attack.
"You pick four players to form the ultimate street cricket side along with you. You have to keep minimum 1 keeper, 1 batter and 1 bowler," the host asks.
"Along with me, the keeper-batter would be, in my opinion, AB de Villiers. There'll be Jasprit Bumrah. That makes it three. There will be Andre Russell. That makes it four. And there will be Rashid Khan. That makes it five," Kohli said.
