Gujarat Titans lost the toss and were asked to bat first. However, it wasn't a great outing for them as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and it was for the third time in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 that they got all out, which is the most by any team in the tournament.
Gujarat Titans were off to the worst possible start with the bat as they lost Wriddhiman Saha (1) early in the second over. After that, skipper Shubman Gill (2) perished as well and they came under immense pressure at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Things got even worse for them when Sai Sudharsan (6) perished as well and they were left tottering at 19/3. However, after that Shahrukh Khan (37) and David Miller (30) brought their team back in the game. The duo added 61 runs for the 4th wicket and put Royal Challengers Bengaluru under pressure.
However, RCB made a comeback and chipped in with wickets at regular intervals. Rahul Tewatia (35) played a vital hand with the bat but couldn't finish the innings on high. Rashid Khan (18) made a vital contribution as Gujarat Titans managed 147 runs on the board.
For Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Yash Dayal was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 2/21. Apart from him, Mohammed Siraj and Vijaykumar Vyshak also picked two wickets whereas Cameron Green and Karn Sharma bagged one scalp each.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) were off to a brutal start with the bat. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis came all guns blazing and took attack on the Gujarat Titans bowlers right from the start at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Virat Kohli (42) and Faf du Plessis (64) added 92 runs for the opening partnership. However, after that, they lost six quick wickets and were under pressure. They were reeling at 117/6. But Dinesh Karthik (21*) and Swapnil Singh (15*) held their nerves and took their team home with four wickets.
