Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Dinesh Karthik achieved an unwanted feat in the ongoing 36th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru.

Dinesh Karthik achieved the disappointing feat of batters involved in most runouts in the IPL. The keeper-batter has been involved in 39 runs outs in the league with the latest one coming in the ongoing IPL 2023 game against KKR.

The miscommunication between Dinesh Karthik and Suyash Prabhudessai saw the latter getting run out in the 15th over while chasing the target of 201 runs. However, after the run-out, the keeper batter too perished as the home side came under immense pressure.

Dinesh Karthik’s poor run of form continued this year as he was back in the hut for just 22 runs in 18 balls. Although, he smashed 1 six and 1 four in his innings and tried to take his team home, but he perished early and couldn’t take his side home.

Dinesh Karthik tops the list of batters involved in most run-outs in IPL. He is followed by Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma on the list. Whereas MS Dhoni, Robin Uthappa, and Suresh Raina are also there with 35, 30 and 30 run-outs respectively.
