RCB vs PBKS key battles:

Phil Salt vs Arshdeep Singh:

The battle between Phil Salt and Arshdeep Singh has the potential to set the tone for the remainder of the RCB innings. Salt has been one of RCB's best batsmen this season and will look to give his team a good start once again. Even in the last game against PBKS, Salt scored an unbeaten fifty to help his side chase down 101 runs in just 10 overs.

Salt can take the game away from PBKS if he manages to stay on the pitch even for a few overs and the Punjab-based outfit will be hoping that their pace spearhead Arshdeep Singh gets his wicket as early as possible.

Virat Kohli vs Kyle Jamieson:

The battle between Virat Kohli and Kyle Jamieson is also an important one. Kohli has been very consistent with the bat this season. In 14 games so far, he has scored 614 runs and will look to impress again. The former RCB captain is known for his ability to deliver under pressure situations and he will be desperate to score big to help his team win the maiden IPL title.

PBKS, on the other hand, will be hoping to get the wicket of Kohli as quickly as possible. The onus will beon Jamieson to get the prized scalp. The New Zealand star dismissed Kohli cheaply in the first qualifier and will fancy his chances again.

Shreyas Iyer vs Josh Hazlewood:

Shreyas Iyer is coming into this game on the back of a sensational knock against Mumbai Indians in the second qualifier. No team had managed to chase down a 200-plus total against Mumbai Indians before Iyer's stunning unbeaten knock of 87 runs helped Punjab Kings chase down 204 runs.

With form on his side, Iyer will be keen to lead his team from the front. For RCB, the onus will be on their in-form pacer Josh Hazlewood to ensure that Iyer does not take the game away from his side. Hazlewood had dismissed Iyer in the first qualifier and will be confident of getting his wicket again.

RCB vs PBKS Key Players:

RCB: Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, Jitesh Sharma, Romario Shepherd, and Josh Hazlewood will be the key players for RCB.

PBKS - Prabhsimran Singh, Josh Inglis, Shreyas Iyer, Marcus Stoinis, and Arshdeep Singh will be the key players for PBKS.

RCB vs PBKS Weather Report:

The weather forecast has predicted rain during the day in Ahmedabad on June 3. So, the start of the final could be delayed due to rain and a wet outfield. The temperature is set to be around 30-31 degrees Celsius.

RCB vs PBKS Pitch report:

The pitch at the Narendra Modi Stadium is expected to be batting-friendly. Both the teams scored more than 200 runs in the second qualifier at the same venue and batsmen are likely to dominate proceedings in the upcoming final as well.
